There is good news for Galaxy lovers! Samsung India has put up its latest flagship, the Galaxy SIII for pre-booking in India on its own e-store, which happens to be in beta state. Pre-booking confirms that India will be among the first countries to experience the new ‘designed for humans’ phone.
To pre-book, customers will need to pay an advance of INR 2,000 (~ $40). The exact price and date of availability of the phone is not disclosed. Though we had earlier reported about its price and availability here. The advance amount will be adjusted against the full payment.
Customers are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully as one the terms states that ‘A pre-booking order cannot be cancelled once placed.’ So there is no refund case if the advance amount is paid. Another interesting clause is that ‘At the time of launch, an email will be exclusively sent to customers who have pre-booked their Galaxy S III on the eStore, informing them of the availability of the Galaxy S III.’ Seems like some will get to know earlier than others.
Also, customers who pre-book SIII will get a free Samsung Bluetooth earpiece worth INR 2,299 (~$46). You can find the specs of the device launching in India below.
