We have some insights on the specs for the Indian version of Galaxy S II through the microblogging site Twitter. Apparently, the company’s official Indian Twitter account has posted tweets stating that the Indian handset will feature a 1.2 GHz processor. Though there is no clarity whether it will be Exynos or Tegra II, we are quite sure that it’ll be Sammy’s own Exynos that will be shipped out to Indian shores. But the most interesting piece of info is that India seems to be getting a NFC-enabled handset, unlike its cousin in the UK. Interesting ain’t it! Other tweets suggest that the display will be Super AMOLED plus and the handset will be made available by end of this month. As for the pricing, it is now public that the handset will be priced between INR 30,000-35,000 (US$ 675-785). Though we’d like to put our money on the Galaxy S II being priced at INR 32,000 (~US$ 720).
