The mega mobile event for 2011 is now over. A record crowd of 60,000 people from 200 countries attended the congress this year. The event featured more than 1,400 exhibiting companies and occupied more than 58,600 net square meters of exhibition and business meeting space.

As a result, this year’s show was the biggest and best Mobile World Congress with:

As anticipated, this year’s event was dominated by smartphones and tablets – Samsung, LG, HTC, and ZTE all unveiled their devices, not only to challenge iPad’s leadership but to find their own footing in the devices marketplace which is increasingly getting crowded.
