BT Total broadband customers who take a broadband & calls package or broadband, calls & TV bundle will get free upgrade to the ISP’s fibre based, 40Mbps Infinity broadband plan, when the superfast service reaches their area, the ISP has announced. This means BT bundle customers need not pay any extra monthly cost to access faster broadband internet.
However, the customers of ‘More Broadband & Calls’ and ‘More TV, Broadband & Calls’ packages will pay an activation fee of £25 when they move to Infinity Option 1 bundle. BT, however, offers FREE activation with selected packages – ‘Unlimited Broadband & Calls’ and ‘Unlimited TV, broadband & calls’.
John Petter, Managing Director, Consumer Division, BT said “Fibre is the future of broadband and BT is raising the speed and standard for customers nationwide. BT Infinity is head and shoulders above other services when it comes to value. We are the only company offering you an upgrade to fibre for no extra monthly cost and the only company to offer free line installation across all new bundles.” The ISP also offers free line connection to the users who add phone to broadband, calls or TV bundles.
